Our Story

Oleka Swim was born during the challenging times of 2020, amidst the global Covid lockdown. As the world stood still, I found myself reflecting on the preciousness of life. This period of uncertainty and introspection inspired me to create something meaningful—a swimwear brand that embraces the beauty of every woman, regardless of shape or size, at a price that doesn't break the bank. The name "Oleka" is a reflection of this mindset; it means "every day is a blessing," a reminder to cherish every moment.

At Oleka Swim, we believe in creating more than just swimwear; we aim to cultivate a community where women can feel their absolute best. Our designs are crafted with love and care, ensuring that every piece not only looks great but feels great too. We want you to soak up the sun, enjoy the water, and feel both stylish and comfortable in every Oleka creation.

Our Mission: Supporting Women’s Health

Oleka Swim is about more than just fashion—it's about making a difference. As the founder and owner, I want to share a personal part of my journey with you. In June 2024, I was diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis, a diagnosis that came as a shock to me. Despite having no major symptoms, an ultrasound revealed a large cyst and extensive damage caused by endometriosis tissue.

This diagnosis opened my eyes to the frustrating lack of information and resources available for a disease that affects millions of women globally. Endometriosis is often misunderstood and underfunded, leaving many women, like myself, searching for answers that are hard to find. I was particularly intrigued by the potential role of diet, lifestyle, and even materials like polyester in influencing hormone levels and the risk of developing endometriosis.

This led me to a crucial decision: Oleka Swim would be 100% polyester-free. While research on the connection between polyester and hormonal changes is still in its early stages, I believe that reducing exposure to synthetic materials like polyester may help women maintain hormonal balance. It's a small but significant step towards empowering women to take control of their health.

But our mission doesn't stop there. Oleka Swim is committed to supporting endometriosis research and raising awareness about this often overlooked condition. A portion of the proceeds from each bikini will be donated to women's endometriosis health research, helping to fund the much-needed studies that could bring answers and relief to millions of women around the world.
